At a glance

The collection begins with a family album rather than a runway. Catherine Opie photographs a group of named characters whose different attitudes give familiar Gucci symbols new settings. A monogrammed trunk connects the opening image to the house’s luggage history. The project treats identity as something expressed through clothing, accessories and gesture. The Tiger, directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn, extends that world into a fictional family gathering.

A wardrobe of characters

Individual personas provide the framework for the collection rather than a single uniform.

Symbols as shared language

The monogram, Horsebit and Bamboo references connect different characters to the same house.

Portraits become cinema

The lookbook establishes the cast of identities; the film develops a related fictional world.

The setting

La Famiglia was released as a lookbook on 22 September 2025. The Tiger premiered at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan on 23 September, during Milan Fashion Week. This record distinguishes those two presentations.
