Fashion career profile

Peter Dundas

Peter Dundas is a Norwegian fashion designer educated at Parsons School of Design in New York. He began in costume and fashion studios in Paris, joining Jean Paul Gaultier in 1992 and moving to Christian Lacroix in 2000. After working at Roberto Cavalli, he became creative director of Emanuel Ungaro in 2005 and artistic director of Emilio Pucci in 2008. In 2015 he returned to Roberto Cavalli as creative director, leaving in 2017 to establish the Dundas label with his partner Evangelo Bousis. Across these appointments, Dundas became known for high-impact eveningwear, fluid draping, embellishment and a sensual, bohemian aesthetic. His later independent work includes seasonal collections and celebrity dressing; Vogue documented a Resort 2024 Dundas collection. This profile preserves the sequence of house roles and his independent label, while not claiming a newer corporate appointment than the available reporting supports.
