Fashion career profile

Paul Harvey

Paul Harvey is an English fashion designer whose career has helped shape Italian technical sportswear. After graduating from Central Saint Martins, he moved to Italy and worked for Sabotage from 1992 to 1995. He joined Stone Island in 1996, succeeding Massimo Osti as the label’s designer; his work developed the house’s material-led approach through garment treatments and technical fabrics, and he remained through 2008. Harvey later worked on the Ten C project from 2010 to 2020. Since 2012 he has served as Creative Director of C.P. Company, where his work connects the company’s archive with ongoing textile and garment experimentation. These are separate appointments across distinct labels: Stone Island and C.P. Company should not be treated as one employer simply because of their shared corporate history under Sportswear Company. His Central Saint Martins training and the dates of the major roles are supported by the C.P. Company archive and Stone Island’s published history.
