Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is an American former professional basketball player whose 1984 agreement with Nike led to Air Jordan and, later, Jordan Brand. His performance, cultural visibility and collaboration with Nike's designers made the signature series one of the most influential product programmes in sportswear. Jordan contributed athlete feedback and became the name, face and long-term partner of the business, while Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield and later design teams authored specific shoes and visual systems.
