Jerry Lorenzo
Jerry Lorenzo is an American designer and the founder and artistic director of Fear of God. Raised around professional baseball through his father's career, he studied at Florida A&M University and completed an MBA at Loyola Marymount before working in sports and event management. He launched Fear of God in Los Angeles in 2013 without formal fashion-school training. Lorenzo built the house across a luxury main line, the Essentials wardrobe and Fear of God Athletics with adidas, using proportion, fabrication, American sportswear and personal cultural references to define a coherent brand system rather than a conventional seasonal label.
