Damien Bertrand

Damien Bertrand is a French luxury executive and HEC Paris graduate. He began at LVMH with Guerlain, including work in France and Australia, then spent 18 years at L’Oréal. His roles included European marketing leadership, President of Maybelline New York and managing director posts in England and Brazil. He joined Christian Dior Couture in 2016 as Managing Director for the women’s business, later taking responsibility for men’s and baby. In 2021 he became CEO of Loro Piana. LVMH appointed him Deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton effective June 10, 2025, with responsibility for product creation and development, brand image and communication, and industrial activities; he joined the LVMH Executive Committee in January 2026. These entries distinguish his former house CEO post from his current Louis Vuitton remit and group-level committee membership. The profile describes each role’s scope rather than attributing parent-group performance to an individual fashion house.
