At a glance
Inside Prada uses layering to show how one look can hold several identities. A cast of 15 women presents shifting combinations of tailoring, sportswear and embroidered satin. Archival dresses appear within minimal outer garments, while worn and aged surfaces suggest a history already lived. The Deposito setting assembles objects from several centuries as a parallel to the clothes.
Layers of identity
The same wearer moves through changing combinations rather than a fixed single look.
Archive within the garment
Older dress forms and aged decoration surface inside newer silhouettes.
Inside the Deposito
Artworks, furniture and objects from five centuries extend the show’s layered perspective.
The setting
Prada Group dates the show and describes the Deposito’s mix of original artworks, furniture and objects.
