At a glance
For their third LOEWE show, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez test how the house’s visual language can become a wardrobe. Familiar American sportswear shapes are softened and shifted by bold colour, painterly draping and Baroque gestures. The clothes keep craft in view: dimensional beadwork and leather skiving make technique part of the silhouette, rather than a detail reserved for accessories.
American codes, reworked
Everyday wardrobe archetypes are centred and softened, then pulled into unexpected colour and proportion.
Technique kept visible
Beaded florals and contrasting leather panels make handwork and construction legible on the body.
A runway as arena
The circular amphitheatre at Château de Vincennes places the audience close to the clothes and gives the show a shared, live energy.
The setting
The show space, designed with Casper Mueller Kneer Architects, took the form of a circular amphitheatre inspired by arenas, stadiums and theatres.
