At a glance
The collection moves familiar Burberry clothes from the weather outside to the social life of the city. Silk and faille change the character of the trench, while softer leather carries coats, trousers and other wardrobe staples into evening. Tailoring and scarf dresses extend that shift. At Old Billingsgate, the house places its proposal inside an imagined rain-soaked London, with Tower Bridge anchoring the setting.
Outerwear after dark
The trench and other protective garments are reworked for evening dressing.
A softer material language
Fluid fabrics and supple leather change the feel of established silhouettes.
London as the stage
Tower Bridge, puddles and check-patterned scaffolding connect the runway to the city.
The setting
Presented at Old Billingsgate on 23 February. The set included a replica of Tower Bridge, resin puddles and Burberry Check scaffolding.
