Golden Goose
Golden Goose is an Italian footwear and fashion brand founded in Venice in 2000 by Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo. It built a recognisable product language around hand-finished sneakers that combine Italian manufacturing with deliberate wear, individual treatments and references to skate and American vintage culture. Permira funds acquired a majority stake in 2020; a 2024 Milan listing was postponed, and HSG completed its acquisition of a majority stake in June 2026 with Temasek becoming a minority shareholder. The company remains private, so revenue and retailer sales retain their stated perimeter.
