Brand intelligence
Cartier
Cartier is the Paris jewellery and watchmaking maison founded by Louis-François Cartier in 1847. Its history extends from high jewellery and royal patronage to watches, leather goods, fragrance and contemporary objects, shaped by the distinctive creative eras of Louis, Pierre and Jacques Cartier. Louis Ferla has been President and Chief Executive Officer since September 2024, succeeding Cyrille Vigneron. The directory presents that executive succession separately from Cartier’s design heritage, because the public record does not establish a single house-wide fashion creative-director mandate. Cartier is part of Richemont; Richemont’s group results are not represented as Cartier-only revenue, earnings or valuation without an explicit brand-level disclosure.
