Bally
Bally is a Swiss footwear and leather-goods house founded by Carl Franz Bally in Schönenwerd in 1851. The company industrialised shoemaking while developing worker infrastructure and an international store network, and later created references including Max Bally's Scribe shoe and the Reindeer boots worn on the 1953 Everest expedition.
