Liberty London

Liberty is the London department store founded by Arthur Lasenby Liberty on Regent Street in 1875. It grew from an emporium of textiles, ornaments and imported goods into a distinctive destination for fashion, beauty, accessories, home, gifts and its own Liberty fabric and collections. The store's archive, prints and in-house products are genuine Liberty creative assets; by contrast, the many external fashion and beauty labels sold across its departments remain independent of Liberty's ownership and creative control. This distinction helps keep the profile useful: a Liberty edit, store event, product listing or collaboration describes a retail or licensed relationship at a particular time, not a permanent brand investment or a creative-director mandate. As a privately held retailer, Liberty does not provide a universal public financial dataset, so third-party estimates and supplier results are not recast as Liberty revenue, profit, valuation or individual-label performance.
