Supriya Lele
Supriya Lele is a British-Indian fashion designer whose London label explores the meeting of Indian heritage and British identity through draping, transparency and sculptural silhouettes. She completed an MA in Fashion (Womenswear) at the Royal College of Art in July 2016. After graduation, she joined Fashion East and made her London Fashion Week debut at Tate Modern in 2017; she presented under that scheme for three seasons before receiving British Fashion Council NEWGEN support. Her first standalone show followed in September 2019 for Spring/Summer 2020. In 2020 she was one of eight LVMH Prize finalists sharing the fund, a distinction recorded by the British Fashion Council. The label’s work has been carried by retailers including Dover Street Market, Browns and SSENSE. In 2025, Lele collaborated with Mango on A Summer Reverie, the first collection in Mango Collective: an enterprise collaboration, not a transfer of creative control. This timeline keeps the independent label’s identity separate from its temporary high-street partnership.
