Fashion career profile
Silvia Venturini Fendi
Silvia Venturini Fendi is an Italian fashion executive and designer from the third generation of the Fendi family. She became Honorary President of Fendi on 1 October 2025, following a long creative career at the Roman house. From 1992 to 2019 she worked alongside Karl Lagerfeld in Fendi’s artistic direction; from 1994 she led accessories and later menswear, and she directed the women’s collections during the house’s centenary year in 2025. Her design work includes the Baguette bag, introduced in 1997, and the Peekaboo, introduced in 2008. In her current honorary role she supports Fendi’s heritage, global profile, craftsmanship and Fendi Casa. The profile distinguishes that present heritage remit from her former category-specific creative responsibilities, and records the known sequence without inventing a start date for menswear leadership.
