Sandra Sándor

Sandra Sándor is a Hungarian fashion designer and the founder and creative director of Nanushka. Raised in Budapest in a family connected to clothing production, she studied fashion at London College of Fashion and established the company in 2005 from her graduate project. Sándor built Nanushka around adaptable wardrobes, craft references and material experimentation, including the brand's widely recognised use of alternative leather. She led its expansion from Budapest into international wholesale, New York Fashion Week, menswear and stores in New York and London while retaining responsibility for the collection within the wider Vanguards group.
