Fashion career profile

Rami Kadi

Rami Kadi is a Lebanese-American couturier whose Beirut-based maison combines detailed handwork with experiments in fashion technology. He graduated from ESMOD Beirut in fashion design in 2008 and gained early professional experience working with Lebanese designer Rabih Kayrouz. Kadi opened his first atelier in Beirut in 2011, began showing collections during Paris’s official fashion weeks in 2014 and presented his first Paris Fashion Week runway show in 2019. His practice includes couture, made-to-measure work and digital experimentation: the house describes a 2020 fashion cyber-show centered on environmental issues and a 2022 couture NFT collection developed with AI. The United Nations Environment Programme appointed him Regional Goodwill Ambassador for Sustainable Fashion in West Asia from 2020 to 2022. In January 2025 he expanded into visual art with the collection Highway to Heaven. The profile separates these dated projects from a generic claim that his work is “sustainable”: the specific source-backed environmental and digital initiatives are named, and the ambassador role is shown as concluded rather than current.
