Julian Klausner
Julian Klausner is a Belgian fashion designer and Creative Director of Dries Van Noten. He graduated from La Cambre in Brussels in 2016 with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fashion design, completed internships at Thom Browne and Kenzo, and later worked at Maison Margiela. Klausner joined Dries Van Noten in 2018, developing the womenswear collections before becoming head of the womenswear studio and a close creative collaborator of the founder. The house appointed him Creative Director in December 2024, with responsibility for both womenswear and menswear; he presented his first women’s runway collection in March 2025. He received the Designer of the Year award at the 2025 Belgian Fashion Awards. His career shows an internal progression from collection development to house-wide creative leadership, while the founder’s continuing involvement and Puig’s ownership remain separate from Klausner’s role.
