Guo Pei
Guo Pei is a Chinese couturier whose work joins Chinese cultural references, embroidery and labor-intensive couture construction. After graduating at the top of her class from one of China’s early fashion schools, she spent a decade designing for a leading Beijing ready-to-wear company. In 1997 she founded Rose Studio, the couture atelier that became the base for her eponymous label and a team of artisans she personally selected and trained.
