Emily Adams Bode Aujla
Emily Adams Bode Aujla is an American designer and founder of BODE. She graduated in 2013 with a dual BA/BFA from Eugene Lang College and Parsons School of Design, studying philosophy and menswear design. Bode launched in 2016 and builds collections through research into American clothing history, archival textiles, quilting and handwork; the house describes storytelling, craft and American history as central to its practice. In 2017, Bode became the first female designer to present at New York Men’s Week. Aujla was named CFDA Emerging Designer of the Year in 2019 and won the CFDA American Menswear Designer of the Year award in 2022.
