Edwin Faeh

Edwin Faeh is a Swiss entrepreneur and the co-founder of Carhartt Work In Progress. He and Salomée Faeh began distributing Carhartt products in Europe in 1989 and developed a licensed business that translated the American workwear archive for European customers, later producing its own seasonal Carhartt WIP collections. The company built durable connections with skateboarding, music, publishing and independent retail while retaining the original Carhartt marks under licence. Faeh's role is recorded alongside Salomée and specifically against WIP—not as founder of Hamilton Carhartt's 1889 US company or sole designer of its products.
