Duran Lantink
Duran Lantink is a Dutch fashion designer working between Amsterdam and Paris. He studied fashion at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and completed postgraduate study at the Sandberg Instituut in 2017. He founded his eponymous label in 2019, building a practice around reconstruction, pre-loved garments, deadstock and experimental silhouette. In 2024 he received the Karl Lagerfeld Prize at the LVMH Prize, followed by the 2025 International Woolmark Prize. Puig appointed him permanent Creative Director of Jean Paul Gaultier in 2025 after the house’s guest-designer era; his first ready-to-wear collection appeared in September 2025 and his first couture collection in January 2026. His roles at his own label and Jean Paul Gaultier remain distinct, as do the two awards and their dates.
