Fashion career profile

Dion Lee

Dion Lee is an Australian fashion designer known for architectural tailoring, engineered construction and a body-conscious approach to silhouette. A graduate of the Fashion Design Studio at Sydney Institute of Technology, he presented his first Australian Fashion Week collection in 2009; sources date the label’s launch to either 2008 or 2009, so the distinction is preserved rather than silently resolved. Lee showed in London in 2012 and on the New York schedule from 2013, building an international business that Cue Clothing Company later majority-owned. The eponymous Australian business entered voluntary administration in May 2024 and was wound up after its final Fall 2024 collection. In 2025, Revolve acquired the Dion Lee brand assets, while Lee launched HÆLO, a separate new label under his creative direction. HÆLO is backed by Revolve and sold through Revolve and FWRD; it is not a revival of the former operating company. This profile therefore distinguishes the designer’s career from the insolvency and later asset acquisition of his namesake business, and records his current creative work separately.
