Fashion career profile

Craig Green

Craig Green is a British menswear designer from London whose label turns practical workwear codes into sculptural, often unisex garments. He studied Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins, graduating with a BA in 2010, then completed an MA in Textiles for Fashion in 2012. His postgraduate work received the L’Oréal Professionnel Creative Award. Green founded his label in 2012; his first professional collection was shown through Fashion East’s MAN initiative for Spring/Summer 2013, followed by two further seasons of support. His early recognition includes the New Era XC Prize in 2010 and British Fashion Award for Emerging Menswear Designer in 2014. He later won British Menswear Designer of the Year at the Fashion Awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Green’s practice also includes guest projects and collaborations with fashion and sportswear companies, but those projects are distinct from permanent employment appointments. The profile separates his continuous eponymous studio from its education, showcase and award milestones.
