At a glance
The collection moves between imagined youth and the material traces of clothes that have been worn, found and remade. Jack B. Yeats’s vision of Tír na nÓg and Perry Ogden’s Pony Kids inform its meeting of folklore and everyday life. Rocha draws that tension through shearling, repurposed florals, pierced lace and ribbon gowns. Sportswear becomes another part of the same world, bringing athletic familiarity into her intricate constructions.
Myth meets lived experience
Irish art and equine references connect an imagined world to familiar dress.
Clothes made and remade
Patchwork, pierced lace and reused floral references foreground acts of alteration.
Sportswear enters the story
The Adidas Originals collaboration joins the collection’s existing mix of romance and utility.
The setting
Shown in the round at Alexandra Palace Theatre on 22 February, with the audience surrounding the runway.
