At a glance
Piccioli revisits Balenciaga’s couture heritage through a wardrobe designed around the wearer. Ribbons and lightweight fabrics allow garments to be adjusted to the body, while techno taffeta and other materials soften the architecture of familiar shapes. Robin Galiegue photographed the lookbook around the house’s historic home on avenue George V. This Spring 27 lookbook is a separate collection from the Summer 27 Paris runway show.
Unsized
Adjustable construction leaves room for the wearer to shape the silhouette.
Lightness
Featherweight fabrics bring a sense of ease to architectural clothing.
Salon and street
The lookbook sets the house’s couture heritage against everyday clothing.
The setting
The Spring 27 lookbook was published in June 2026. Its photographs were made around Balenciaga’s Paris couture house; the collection is not assigned to a fashion-week edition.
