Supreme
Supreme is a New York skate and clothing brand founded by James Jebbia on Lafayette Street in April 1994. Its stores, limited product releases and collaborations connected skateboarding with art, music, photography and fashion while maintaining a distinct downtown-community identity. VF Corporation acquired Supreme in 2020, then sold it to EssilorLuxottica in a transaction completed in October 2024 for $1.5 billion.
