Steve O Smith

Steve O Smith is the London label of British designer Steve O Smith. Its work begins with drawing and translates hand-drawn lines into garments through fabric appliqué, exacting pattern cutting and made-to-order construction. The result is a body of clothing that treats line, movement and silhouette as inseparable rather than as surface decoration. Smith developed this approach during an MA at Central Saint Martins and remains Founder and Creative Director of the independent label. The profile connects the brand to that documented design method and its maker-led production model without overstating the scale of the business. Smith received the Karl Lagerfeld Prize at the 2025 LVMH Prize, a recognition that is recorded as career context rather than as a corporate-performance claim.
