Paul Smith
Paul Smith is an independent British fashion company that began with a small Nottingham shop opened by Paul Smith in 1970. A first menswear collection followed in Paris in 1976, building a business around precise British tailoring, colour, print and everyday cultural references. The company later expanded into womenswear, accessories, fragrance, furniture collaborations and an international retail network. Smith remains designer and chairman, so founder, ownership and current creative authorship genuinely coincide here. The private company does not publish an audited standalone revenue series.
