Anna Sui
Anna Sui is an independent New York fashion house founded by Anna Sui, who launched her first collection in 1981 after studying at Parsons and working in sportswear. Her research-led collections combine vintage clothing, music, subculture, art and decorative history, while the business has expanded into beauty, fragrance, accessories and international licensing. Sui staged her first runway show in 1991 with support from friends including Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista and remains the central designer. The private company does not publish a continuous audited revenue series, so licence retail sales and store counts are not substituted for financial results.
